The Firm Wave Reviews - Ride The Wave!

People who exercise regularly and are
already quite fit and don't need to lose
any weight often ask me if the Firm Wave
would be any good for them or if it is only
suitable for new and novice exercisers.
Some of these people are clients of mine
who I have been training for some

there are quite fit - in fact some of them are fitter than
me, and they know nearly as much about exercise as I do!
I give regular exercisers the same advice as I do novice
exercisers; that is that the Wave will give them a workout as
intense as they care to make it. What makes this possible is
the sheer versatility of this piece of equipment, which can be
used either side up and for all sorts of floor-based exercises,
exercises with an exercise band or with or without dumbbells so
that they continue to challenge every muscle in their body.
A piece of advice that I always give to every exerciser,
whether novice or experienced, is that for their fitness to
progress they must change their workout on a regular basis. As
humans, we like to be good at things and we enjoy things that
we are good at. Although it is tempting to stick to a fitness
programme you have got used to, it will not actually do you any
further good after around six weeks as your body will have
adapted to it.
The first few weeks of any new exercise programme when you get
the biggest bang for your buck, as your brain and heart and
muscles scramble to adapt to what you have asked of them. Lots
of energy is expended, which burns fat, muscles strengthen and
become shapely as they are forced to work much harder than they
are used to, and your heart and lungs become much more
efficient circulating blood and oxygen around the body to keep
up with your demands.
The Firm Wave is brilliant for all sorts of different and
challenging workouts and its sheer versatility always amazes
me. Its uses are only limited by your imagination; any exercise
that can be done on a Step, bench or a wobble board can be done
simply by using this single piece of equipment. All types of
Step exercises can be performed to music with a good beat; make
these high impact by jumping and hopping, or use the Wave as a
prop to move around and over to intensify your workout. And
there's all that just on one side of the Wave! If you turn it
over and rock on it, you add a whole new dimension to the mix,
engaging muscles you didn't know you had.
